Pete’s Vantage Point Math Blog

Hi. My name is Pete Chapman. After spending the last 5 years teaching at Mountain Range High School I chose to move to Vantage Point. Before Mountain Range, I taught at Niver Creek and York Middle Schools for a combined total of 6 years.

I attended a mix of educational institutions including Community College of Denver, Front Range Community College, and CU Denver, before finally earning my Bachelor’s Degree from Regis University in 2001. I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Secondary Mathematics from CU Denver.

I found my soul mate and  married her in 1994. We have a wonderful daughter who attends school in Adams 12. I have lived in Colorado since 1992 and can’t imagine life anywhere else.

Welcome to my Math Class Blog. Here is where you will find daily activities and links to homework, tools, and helpful sites. You will also find page numbers and problem numbers of work done in class and work expected to be done outside of class. Please check this daily to be sure you and your child are caught up.

Please feel free to let me know if there is anything else you’d like to see here. You can contact me via e-mail at
